(& up to age 35). That is just crazy if you ask me.
MEdian net worth about $100k, based on income. (Is that all ages? Yikes!)
Not much to compete with there. I think I am doing okay. I think we passed the $100k mark around age 25. Of course my income is much higher now too, which makes those medians sound more crazy.

The low net worth for 25-34 isn't really that surprising to me. When I was nearing 30, my net worth was very much below zero. I had just over $100,000 in student loans and had recently bought a house. Even with a 20% downpayment, I still owed 80% of the value. We had some savings, but not nearly enough to balance out our debts.
